Rural settings present their own challenges.  Among them, the need to provide water where existing services do not exist, and where electric supply is expensive and difficult to reach.

Though well drilling can provide access to water, powering the well pumps can be more difficult.  Utilizing compact submersible, in-line pumps powered by a surface-mounted solar array, water is pumped when sunlight powers the system.  This is sufficient to fill water storage tanks and containers to be used as needed, or to directly fill stock tanks in the field.
